ABOUT THE PROGRAM

    On behalf of President Jose Sulaiman, the World Boxing Council is proud to announce the development of a new WBC Youth division for young boxers—

The WBC Youth Championship Program has had overwhelming success since its inception in the two divisions:  WBC Youth and WBC Youth Intercontinental.  The Committee has established the WBC Youth Silver division in order to give more young fighters the opportunity to proudly wear the green belt.  The Silver belt title will have the same divisions, fees and rules as the other two divisions.  We are excited to work with all promoters, managers and trainers to make this program a success. The WBC Youth program has contributed to the preparation of young boxers throughout the world and helped them attain the opportunity to compete for world titles. We are very excited to expand this program and open up 17 more divisions for these young men.
