ABOUT THE PROGRAM

    On behalf of President Jose Sulaiman, the World Boxing Council is proud to announce the development of a new WBC Youth division for young boxers—

As a division of the WBC Youth World Boxing program, this program is filling the need of numerous young boxers who are invested in furthering their boxing career, and intent on winning the “green belt.” The WBC Youth program has been so successful that we have not been able to accommodate all the young men wishing to fight for the WBC.

The WBC Youth Intercontinental Championship Program will be designed exactly like the WBC Youth program, with the same divisions, fees and rules. This program will care for the young boxers, open the doors for opportunities, and cover the big step from amateurism to world championship fights.

The WBC Youth program has contributed to the preparation of young boxers throughout the world and helped them attain the opportunity to compete for world titles. We are very excited to expand this program and open up 17 more divisions for these young men.
